Chapter 2
The Gas Game

Tou and his fellow cousins casually walked down the hill, which the Senshi had arrived from. As they strolled downhill each one of their ninja uniforms magically dispersed and a nice, fashionable wardrobe appeared in its place. Tou's hair combed and cleaned in its usual poofy, short matter. His dark, black uniform had been replaced by a short-sleeved, dark black T-shirt finely labeled with a dark Adidas logo on the location of the usual shirt pocket, and his legs now covered by a nicely made pair of windbreakers also labeled with Adidas. Neng's head now covered by an Adidas cap, which was accompanied by the usual Adidas T-shirt and windbreakers. Shia, on the other hand, was nicely fitted with a fine black skirt and a nice dark sweater along with her usual dark-brown, ponytail hair, much like Mako's. Now they appeared as usual Asian-American tourists, which had unimaginable powers that not even the Senshi could handle.

" Tou, where we goin'?" Neng asked.

" Going to the temple. We could find some things there. Then I'm goin' to Ami's house; you guys can go anywhere after that." Tou answered.

" Fine, I'll just warp there."

" No, some one might see you."

" Too bad then. We already changed clothes in the middle of the park and revealed ourselves to the Senshi."

" Then go where ever you want to. Just meet me at Ami's house in a ruoh. Got it? You can too Shia."

A ruoh was the universal measurement of time, approximately an hour on the Earth scale. The Matrain Gods created all of the universal measurement, except that of Earth's solar system because of its low ability to control energy and under-developed technology compared to other planets, such as Meo. Meo had already discovered the ability of converting matter to energy, and vice versa; also, all the abilities of energy.

" I'll go with you, Tou. I'm pretty sure that Neng is going to try and get a girl anyways." Shia joked.

"HEY!" Neng yelled. Tou and Shia chuckled at the ignorance of Neng. Even though Neng was already fifteen he was still a bit immature, unlike Tou, sixteen, who had lost most of his emotions and gained maturity along with Shia, fourteen, when their families had been killed in the war. Neng on the other hand had become more immature since he was in the care of his older cousin now. He would soon have to consider that the Hmong, the race from the planet Meo, were few in number and that they were soon to be extinct. Tou knew this and had did not want his race to flourish once more since most of them were already killed by the gods and it was illegal for a race to flourish from the brink of extinction because of the gods.

Neng's image disappeared from sight and in an instance his body completely departed from existence in that terrain. Tou calmly strolled down the hill towards the bus stop, followed by Shia.

Along the way, Tou informed Shia that people would look at them, since there were little tourists at this time of the year. Shia complied, but added that as long as they appeared Asian, which they had always thought themselves of, that they would not be in trouble. Additionally, she said that they would appear to be Japanese returning to Japan after a visit to America.

" Good point." Tou complimented her. Their discussion carried on to the bus stop. Tou had noticed that they had to pay fare in order to get on, so he converted a small amount of his energy into a cluster of matter. The cluster then molded itself into a couple of Yen, in which he gladly handed to the driver.

"Arigato" the driver said, in Japanese, as he took the money. Tou and Shia nodded in compliance and boarded the bus, taking a seat in the back, away from the crowd. They personally did not understand much Japanese, but knew how to convert languages much like their ability with matter and energy. The conversation with the Senshi was quite simple, subsequently the Senshi had learned English as a second language in school.

Meanwhile, in the forest where Neng and the others had originally appeared, Neng was waiting for something. The screech he had heard earlier, he knew that it might be a worthy challenge. He chanted the eternal words of his swords, the Atomic, summoning it to his aid. A flash of light gleamed from his forehead then vanished, revealing a sword in the hands of Neng. His sword radiated a distinct sky blue light directed towards the forest, which he felt the beast's energy situated upon. The evil beast screeched its massive voice at Neng, blowing his cap off. The previous rain had halted a few minutes ago. The beast was one of the last creatures of the Vivo Galaxy, which the Hmong had destroyed; it was a four-legged creature whose vicious fangs had reached clear out of his mouth. His tail was complete with spike and all, the body covered with scales and tiny holes, which Neng learned from school emitted deadly gases. He also knew that the beast was called the Genocide, which was know to kill off several races and was very intelligent compared to the average human.

" Do you wish to battle me, Hmong boy?" the Genocide asked him.

" Battle! Please! You couldn't take an advanced Hmong, such as me." Neng yelled back.

" Don't beg!" he chuckled, then began once more. " I will give you one chance to guess a poisonous gas that I will emit into the atmosphere, if you do not guess correctly I will destroy you, and if you do guess correctly I will leave you to yourself. Now take this chance to your advantage." He began to tremble then a distinct smell came. A pale, yellowish gas streamed from the holes, which were embedded in his body.

" I don't know!" Neng lied, he had learned his chemistry a long time ago in universal science, which he passed with a 3.73 GPA. He had wanted to fight ever since he had left the planet. This moment was the perfect moment to touch up on his skills.

" Then you die!" the beast roared, as he lunged himself at Neng. Neng's image dispersed and reappeared behind the beast. His sword's light altered into a single beam of light shining towards the beast body. The light rushed towards the body, but the creature had already disappeared.

" So, you think you can defeat me boy." His voice roared. " Why do you think I am one of the few survivors? I can easily defeat you."

" Then kill me now!" Neng yelled, playing his luck.

" Fine." he said. Millions of gleaming gases rushed into the air, as the body of the creature had completely withdrawn from any movement and visibility. " If you can name the three gases, then I will reappear to give you a fair chance at victory." Two colors of vapor appeared, a pale yellow once again, a brownish color, and nothing else. Neng was confused, the beast had distinctly said three gases, and he had only seen two.

" Where is the third?" Neng asked.

" I will give you 10 seconds." The beast commanded.

" The brown, Bromine, the yellow, Fluorine, the third…" Neng quickly said, he had known his elements, especially Earth elements.

" The third…." The beast raveled on. Neng could not see the gas, it was plain clear to his eyes, but he knew there was another way. He used the energy abilities taught to him by Tou. He closed his eyes slowly and the atoms of the element came to his "sixth sense" he quickly found the atomic number quickly. 2. "What element had the atomic number of 2 on the Earth Periodic Table?" he asked himself.

" 4" the creature counted down.

"Hydrogen!" Neng shouted.

" Correct." The creature said, reappearing in the air in a striking position. His slash completely missed as Neng literally split his own atoms. The particles that had been identified as his chemical makeup had slowly moved around in the air, as if floating endlessly. One after another, soaring into the beast's body the particles fused themselves inside the body.

" I have never seen this technique used before." The beast yelled, frightened. Soon after his body had vanished from "appearance", all of Neng's particles and atoms had entered the creature's body. Beams of light illuminated from the creature's holes and a ball of mass, full of matter and energy erupted within the creature's body. A moment later the beast had been drawn into the ball of mass, much like a black hole devouring light and matter. The beast and all it's remains were drawn into the ball and he no longer existed on the plane or any that a fact. The ball's matter scattered into trillions of particles, reforming once again into Neng, the being.

" That's what you get you god damn bastard!" he yelled at the already deceased creature. Then he chuckled with happiness at his victory over the beast. He still had it in him, the ability to fight. The black hole technique was not supposed to be used in any circumstances according to Tou, since it was very powerful and drained much energy from the user. Tou was right. Neng felt very tired and hungry; he didn't have enough energy to warp anymore, he would have to telepathically contact Tou and Shia, but then he knew that they were going to the temple and didn't have time to waste by picking him up. It was Neng's idea to go along by himself though.

He noticed a single applause coming from the dense forest; instinctively he turned back to see something very disturbing. It was his older cousin, not Tou he was at the temple, it was V. Her name was not actually V, but the children had nicknames for one another such as Neng had the nickname Vaneej, but no one had called him that since he had turned eleven. He chuckled, remembering Tou's nickname, Tofu. People always made fun of him until he was fourteen and showed that he was a little maturer, but the Pallid race and other non-hmong people had always called him Tofu. " So how's Tofu?" she joked.

" He's at the temple, lookin' for chicks." He grinned.

" Shia?" she asked.

" She went with him."

" She lookin' for chicks too?" she chuckled, again.

" No, they're really goin' to the temple. Looking for some wisdom from the monks there."

" No action for you, huh?"

" Yep. Why are you here anyway? Thought you had become one of Xiong's Matter Specialists."

" I did join them, but Xiong appointed me to the Elite High Commander of Specialists. He sent me to get rid of you."
