For the first time with the Endless Summer Band, Al performed a great version of "California Saga/California" as the second part of a medley with "California Dreamin'". It featured an amazing a capella part near the end. "I Can Hear Music", "Runaway" and "Barbara Ann" were crossed off the stage setlist.

Opening act was billed as "Jan & Dean featuring Dean Torrence" but was actually Dean Torrence & The Surf City All-Stars. Matt Jardine performed double duty as he played in both bands. Dean's band also included Gary Griffin, David Logeman, Don Raymond and Phil Bardowell. They performed several Beach Boys songs, including "Darlin" and "Surfer Girl". Surprisingly only 3 or 4 Jan & Dean songs were performed.
