The contributor of this setlist writes: "This concert is noteworthy because the Beach Boys introduced George Bush mid- way though the concert (and dedicated Long Tall Texan to him). At the time, Mr. Bush was campaigning for the Republican nomination for President. Eventually, Ronald Reagan won the nomination and Bush became the VP candidate."
