This was Bruce Johnston's final show before leaving the band, not to come back until late 1978. This is one of just a handful of shows that featured Bruce Johnston AND Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar.
Regarding this, C-Man notes: "Bruce told Brad Elliott in 1981 that 'Tampa was the last place I played'. Bruce must've known he was leaving (whether he had told the other guys or not), because prior to singing "Disney Girls" he announced that this would be the last time he would ever sing it (which of course turned out not to be the case)."
Another interesting note from C-Man: "Mike announced their flight number and depature time for anyone who cared to drive to the airport to see them off at midnight!"
A tape that is circulating features what seems to be a differently ordered setlist, but upon listening, one will notice that songs have been cut and pasted in certain sections. This setlist is identical to the one from 3/8/72, except the intermission has been dropped. Dennis announced during the show that they would be skipping the intermission.
