Here it comes: the birth of the "car medley". With the Stars on 45 medley craze sweeping the nation, and the "Beach Boys Medley" climbing the charts, the Boys decided to start performing some of their "best car songs" in a medley fashion, and have been doing so at practically every concert since 1981. Carl was on his solo tour at this time.
