Beach Boys Concert--July 16, 1999

Frawley Stadium, Wilmington, DE
July 16, 1999

Scott McAllister writes: "I was extremely surprised at how well they performed. There was no word on where David Marks was for this show. Adrian Baker did a wonderful job on "Good Vibrations" and Don't Worry Baby". Most notable was that "Catch A Wave" and "Hawaii" was dropped front the set list. The car songs also seemed to be slower then usual. Also the most notable was the void of Al Jardine and Carl Wilson, a sad note to remember about. I have had the opportunity in the past three months to see all 3 touring Beach Boys groups. They all have been wonderful to see perform and they have brought back so many wonderful memories of past concerts that I have attended. It was nice to hear them perform 'Back in the USSR' again, what a treat."

Creedence Clearwater Revisited was the opening act.
