A short set due to the number of artists performing at this Hurricane Katrina Benefit Concert. About 3000 in attendance at this show, which featured short sets by The Surfaris (still going strong despite original member Jim Pash's passing in April), Mary Wilson from the Supremes, Gary Sinise & The Lt. Dan Band, Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night, and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. Comedians Paul Rodriguez, Scott Henry and Chris Robinson also performed. The whole concert was about 6 1/2 hours long.
John Stamos played with the band throughout the entire set, while Dean Torrence joined in for the final three numbers. There were some sound problems for the first few songs; Mike's microphone seemed to have been turned down lower than the other mics, and the guitar solos were difficult to hear.
