The contributor writes: "This concert was really good. It had the Baton Rouge orchestra playing in the background. This concert was previously canceled. It was scheduled for June 9th, but due to a tropical storm hitting here, it was moved to Baton Rouge on Sept 5th."
Archivist's note: Earlier in the year, Bruce Johnston mentioned several times on the Beach Boys Britain Message Board that he was excited about the upcoming "symphonic show". "Disney Girls" was mentioned in one of these messages, but not performed. However, three other songs that were mentioned, "Here Today", "Ballad Of Ole' Betsy" and "You Still Believe In Me" were included.
Another note: After performing a short one-song "Fun Fun Fun" encore for many shows over the summer, the band reverted back to the classic pairing of "Barbara Ann" and "Fun Fun Fun".
