Contributor Denise Stempien writes: "This was the US premier of That Lucky Old Sun. Brian was more animated at this show than I have seen in past shows. There were a few minor glitches. 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' was started in the wrong key and during the beginning of That Lucky Old Sun a piano wasn't tuned properly and there was no narration during, 'Room With A View'. That was OK--we got to hear 'That Lucky Old Sun' and 'Morning Beat' again. Some Bay Area musicians joined the group during That Lucky Old Sun to round out the string section. (Under the direction of Paul Mertens) In addition to the clips during the narratives, pictures of the Wilson brothers were shown during, 'Can't Wait Too Long' and a surfing montage was shown during, 'Surfin' USA'. And in true California form, there was a small earthquake during the intermission although I think I was the only one that felt it. Great show!!"
