Me! (Dave)

A new bio for a new beginning ...

Prom night '99 at WaWaI was giving someone the address to my sight the other day and I realized that the bio page was over two years old now. That means I was still running around like a child trying to fit in and pretending to be things I I just was not... and although nothing has changed, much has happened. For those of you who don't already know, I am 18, I live in the Jersey shore, I just graduated from Southern Regional High School, and I'm single! I will also be attendting The College of New Jersey and studying Computer Science this September. Actually I just read the old page and I updated it a year ago, and in case you were wondering, no, I don't worship the Spork anymore.

Grandmom, Scott, and I, Just before graduationSenior year of High was a great experience for me. I learned, I loved, I played hookie. I managed to learn very much about myself as well as others. I picked up a few things in classes. I made new friends. I forgot about bad friends. I gave up tennis. I really wanted to continue playing tennis, but the new coach and I just didn't mix. I attended football games and basketball games. Then boycotted basketball games to defend the right of fans.

Rose and I, Prom night '99I did a lot, and took the pictures to prove it! Hopefully I'll get to scan more as time goes on, but you can see a few of the key events of my Senior year. Even before school started I was busy with other Student Council Geeks planning the opening our new school. Most people probably wouldn't care, but I did get a strange sense of pride being the first to see it, tour it, and ride the elevator. The rest of the year is a blur of football games, and trenchcoats, and dances, and trips.

Jedi DaveThe year being topped with a flurry of events. Picking up trash for Senior Service Day, going to Florida and trashing our room, gettin' down at the Prom, finally graduating and partying until 6:00 AM. The words for summer are work and fun, I hope everyone else got to experience the same thing. The odd thing about this bio is it need to serve as a "hello" and "goodbye" simultaneously. The greeting going to the people I meet in college and otherwise, the farewell to those I leave back home, all of which who will surely be missed. The Posse, old Group, Dunkin' Donuts Crew, even fellow Wawa employess, I love and will miss you all dearly.
