Freisinger Warmbluts(FWB) and Mormon Coulee Equestrian Center is a breeding/boarding/training facility located in the scenic Mormon Coulee just over 2 miles outside the city of La Crosse. This area is in the middle of the second largest concentration of eagles found in the United States. There are hundreds of eagles that winter in this area and it is not unusual to see them in the city and parks along the river or soaring over head.
The farm is owned and operated by Pete and Joline Freisinger. Pete also is President & CEO of Freisinger Insurance Group. Pete is also a published photographer and computer nut. The farm, with views of wooded bluffs and a beautiful trout stream, is now confined to 24 acres. It is home to many species of wild life in addition to the horses. The facility is located in a subdivision that once was the grazing and crop land for the farm.
Our Farm was originally a Dairy Farm with a creamry on the farm. Originally Owned by Joseph Stroeh and called Shelby Dairy, it was Purchased by the Hoeth's and changed to Hoeth Brother's Dairy. It was the first mechanized Dairy in La Crosse County.
