Some photos of what's new in 1998:
Field Day was given this 150HP Corliss steam engine by Jones Lumber Co.
of Montpelier. The only problem, moving it to the Field Day location.
First, a hole had to be cut in the roof so the 12' diameter flywheel
could be removed.
With our Steam Team of about 20 people guiding the wheel, it was lifted
out and over to the waiting lowboy.
One of many volunteers. Would you like to join in and help in 2002?
