Choose any number between 1 and 100.  Add 28.  Multiply by 6.
Subtract 3.  Divide by 3.  Subtract the original number plus 3.
Add 8.  Subtract the original number minus 1.  Multiply by 7.



Try this with several numbers.

Now, think up ways to fool your friends and family with 
"mind reading" tricks.  You may want to try putting the 
answer in a sealed envelope and having your friend choose
a number.  Have your friend follow the steps without telling
you the answer.  Magically produce your paper with the
correct number already written on it.
