46 years old, mother of two, church worker of Iglesia Filipina Independiente, Northern Luzon. Lorna was abducted on March 17, 2000, was detained incommunicado by the ISAFP for about 3 months. Late last year she was transferred to the Abra Provincial Jail in Bangued to stand trial of being part of an alleged conspiracy behind the killing of CPLA leader Conrado Balweg despite Cordillera NPAs owning up to his death. |

farmer from Sitio Cantuwagan, Bgy. Tabgas, Albuera, Leyte. Their landlord Primitiva Verano charged last year, Virginia's husband, Ernesto Tumampo Sr. with "qualified theft (of coconuts). The case was dismissed but was later recalled. However, Ernesto was already missing by this time. Unable to locate Ernesto, Verano turned the charge of qualified theft of coconuts amounting to P4,180.00 to Ernesto's wife Virginia and two sons plus two neighbors of the Tumampos. The group is detained in Albuera Municipal Jail, Leyte. |

They were arrested during a military operation last September 18, 1999 in their community at Tanagan, San Andres, Romblon. Both of them were still minors when arrested. They were accused of being NPA members and were charged with PD 1866 (Illegal Possession of Firearms in Furtherance of Rebellion). Emma was two months pregnant then and had a miscarriage while inside the Romblon Provincial Jail. Both are included in the list recommended for immediate release by the Arroyo government. However, because of slow court proceedings, their release remains uncertain. |

A18 years old Lumalinda was apprehended during a military operation on August 14, 1999 at Bgy. Rosariohan, Butuan, Bohol. She was wounded and had been under the custody of the Visayas Command. She was only a minor when she was arrested. Her family, cause-oriented groups and even her lawyer were initially barred from visiting her. She is now charged with attempted homicide and PD 1866 and is detained in DSWD Region VII, Cebu City. |

She was one of the four youth who went to a friend's house in Sitio Awasan, Jubang, Tago, Surigao del Sur early evening of 30 September 2000. Unknown to them, there was an ambush by the NPA at the nearby vicinity of Sitio Cabague. While walking home, they were apprehended by the patrolling reinforcement PNP forces. They were consequently brought to Tago Police Station. Without the advice of a counsel, they were forced to sign a document they did not understand. They were charged with double murder and double frustrated murder. Later, the group was advised to bargain for "conspiracy to commit rebellion" instead of the murder charge. Thus, they are now sentenced to two years and four months to six years imprisonment. |

Gloria was a suspected NPA member and was arrested 26 January 2001. She underwent rigid tactical interrogation and endured physical harassment from her Philippine Army captors, stationed at Camp Dawas, Ormoc City. She is presently detained at Leyte Provincial jail, Kausagan, Palo, Leyte. She is charged with Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition. She was a hearing problem and needs a new hearing aid. |

Irene was falsely accused of being one of the NPA members involved in the death of military informer Edward Jimenez who was killed in Negros Occidental. She was arrested on February 14 2001 (in Cebu) on her way to lunch. She was charged with murder and is currently detained in Canlaon City BJMP in Negros Occidental. |

They visited the Grotto of Lourdes in Caguiba, Camalig, Albay on 14 October 2000. Since there was no longer a ride home, they spent the night at the house of Erineo Nasayao, a relative of the Navarros and an acquiantance of Lamberto. Early morning of October 15, elements of the 501st IBPA raided the house of Erineo after allegedly receiving reports that NPAs were in his house. The military arrested the three minors together with those who were also in the area. Later, the military filed an affidavit claiming that they were arrested in an encounter. | |||

15 years old Belmar was arrested 29 August 1999 in Canmano, Sagbayan, Bohol and was charged with Illegal Possession of Firearms and Attempted Homicide. He was detained in DSWD Rehabilitation Center in Argao, Cebu. |

LEVIE MABARAN, 9 years old Military men of 8th Infantry Division and 34th IBPA barged into the house of a blind man, 74-year-old Pedro Gabane, whom they suspected as NPA sympathizer. When the old man denied such allegation, they reportedly shot and killed him. Then, they took the sick boy Levie, who stays with Pedro in the house. Levie was suspected as a son of a rebel. To date, there are no reports on Levies whereabouts. |
