The One...The Only (driveable Beetle we own)...Molly McBeetle. Molly was at one time Shannon's means of transportation when we lived in San Diego. A Beetle was a giant step-up from the old crappy puke green Honda that had finally kicked the bucket and got hauled off to the crusher. The Honda Civic of course was 20 years younger than Molly, but sure didn't look it. Prior to the 'Frog' (Honda), Shan had a beautiful '62 Beetle which was ripped-off almost a month after she had gotten it, but introduced her to the wonderful world of VW's nonetheless. I never got to see it in person until we got a call from the San Diego Sheriffs office a year later to go and inspect the shell they had found in an empty lot. Stripped bare and nothing worth saving whatsoever. Yup, serious bummer, but all of that crap led up to the purchase of this 95% original 1966 Sedan that we love more than any car we own. That is until Booger gets finished. Heh, heh.
