Career Stats---------------------------------------------------------
In High School, Kobe Bryant led the nation in scoring, and skipped college to jump directly to the NBA where he was selected by the Charlotte Hornets, then traded to the Lakers. Despite a lack of playing time, Kobe was named to the All-Rookie second team. Kobe was also the Slam Dunk champion and scored 31 points in the Rookie Game during All-Star Weekend. Kobe is one of the most popular players in the trading card industry today. Top cards include 96-97 Topps Finest cards (#74 and #269 Silver). Also hot are the refractors of those cards.
Bryant averaged 30.8 points, 12 rebounds, 6.5 assists, four steals and 3.8 blocks per game as a senior, as Lower Merion took the Class AAAA state title with a 31-3 record. He finished as the all-time leading scorer in Southeastern Pennsylvania history with 2,883 career points -- 524 more than Wilt Chamberlain, who is third on the list.
