Worship is the giving of praise to, or giving 'credit' to . When we worship, we should only be worshipping God, the main & only Creator of everything in the universe. THIS is who SHOULD be worshipped. He is the only One that can give us all sustenance of life & the many priveledges that can go along with it. Complete sustenance, beauty, love, warmth. Unless there is another that has given more,which there is none, God should be the only one worthy of receiving worship. No statues, no idols. These things are not capable of doing anything for you except to sit there and hopefully look attractive in some way. It is God & His Love that is & is in everything. Nothing would be if it weren't for His Love, His energy. This is where credit is due, and this is Who we should give worship to. We may give thanks to others for their help, never miss saying thank you to someone for helping, but worship should only be your precious and special relationship between you & your Creator. Worship with an honest heart & an open mind, & above all, be ready for His Love.
