The 49ers of Old

The San Fransisco 49ers looked like the 49ers of old making their Monday
Night Football debut. Everything seemed to run smooth as the 49ers easily
defeated the Washington Redskins 45-10. The 49ers are off to the best
start in years. Steve Young threw three touchdown passes and ran for another
as he completed 21 of 32 passes for 303 yards. His two game total is
666 yards which is his best start ever. Speaking of best starts, how about
Gerrison Hearst who ran for 138 yards agains the "high paid" defense of the
Redskins. Hearst now has 325 yards which is the best two game performance
ever by any running back. And how about that defence. Looking a little
rocky early, they pulled together for a brilliant second half. The 49ers
are off next week as they prepare for the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Sept.
27th. GO NINERS!!!
