"An anthropologist heard of a 12 year old girl in an Irish village who had the
ability to summon whales to the shore. He met the girl and asked her if she
could demonstrate this. They sat atop the cliffs looking at the sea. The girl
closed her eyes and became very still for 20 minutes. Then on the horizon
several whales appeared, eventually coming so close to shore they might have
beached themselves. He asked her how she did this. She replied 'I become
very quiet and still and go inside myself to the very place where every living
thing speaks the same language. Then I ask them to come.'"
