EASTER STUDY
This is a 4 day unit for Easter, to be completed during the week just before Easter Sunday or the week earlier.
Use the Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the English Language to look up words
and phrases. Use a Bible dictionary, concordance or other Bible resources as
needed to research activities.
Wednesday
1. Read Matthew 26:1-16
2. Look up the following and tell what each is
3. Write the passage in your own words to be shared with the rest of the
family.
4. Write a prayer to personalize what you have learned from the passage and
share with the family.
5. Drink an herbal tea with the family. Anoint each person with olive oil.
Thursday
1. Read Matthew 26:17-46
2. Look up the following and tell what each is
3. Write the passage in your own words to be shared with the rest of the
family
4. Write a prayer to personalize what you have learned from the passage and
share with the family
5. Prepare a Passover style supper for the family.
Friday
1. Read Matthew 26:47-56; 69-75; ch. 27:26-28; 45-50

4. Write a prayer to personalize what you have learned and share with the
family.
5. Prepare the Lord's Supper for the family.
Saturday

family.
4. Write a prayer to personalize what you have learned and share with the
family.
5. Make a diorama of the tomb. Make Resurrection cookies.
Sunday
1. Read Matthew 28:1-20
2. Look up the following and tell what each is
3. Write the passage in your own words to be shared with the family.
4. Write a prayer to personalize what you have learned and share with the
family.
5. Prepare a celebration of Resurrection Day - food, dessert, and beverage.
