Each time I visit Las Vegas, I try
to stay at some place different. I must say, for my first stay at the
Luxor (my 35th visit to LV), I greatly enjoyed my stay. The rooms were
large, and nicely lit. Service was excellent! The price, $39 a night,
was one that just could not be passed up! For those traveling alone, security
was excellent. Only those having rooms were allowed into the inclinaters,
meaning no local Joe Blow was going to bother you. The view was nice of
the mountains. It was definitely worth it, and I do plan on staying here
again, as it is my favorite! My wife and I stayed
for 7 days. The room was in the tower east on the 19th floor. These
rooms were great. They had marble bathrooms and a great view. The casino
was happening all night and day long. Even though we did not win much
money, we had a ball. The show "Imagine" was also very excellent.
The longest process was checking in at about 15 minutes. We called way
in advance and got an excellent rate. I recommend renting a car, so
you can go wherever you want whenever you want. The pools are very nice.
I would recommend staying here for all in the future. I would definitely
stay again!!!!!! The Luxor is a great
place to stay. At check in I asked which one was preferable, the pyramid
or the towers. She said the towers are nicer because they are newer
but to stay in the pyramid if it is your first time. We chose the pyramid
and were very pleased. The standard room is large and the lack of a
bathtub is no inconvenience. Unbelievably, we were upgraded to a mini
suite in the tower for our last night. The jacuzzi was small, but who
cares when you get a bonus like that. The suite was very impressive
and the staff was so nice and attentive to upgrade us so easily without
asking. The only drawback is the distance from other hotels. If you
learn where the people movers are, it becomes no problem. We got married on Valentinves
Day and stayed at the Luxor. I feel that this was the best vacation
I have ever had. Even Hawaii. The entire 5 days that we stayed at the
hotel was pure luxury. I visited the spa the morning I got married and
had the most wonderfully relaxing morning being pampered . Then I had
my hair done at the hotel salon. Everyone was just wonderful. The service
was excellent and the food was marvelous. We especially enjoyed the
easy check out on the TV screen. The show at the hotel was very enjoyable
and I will recommend the hotel to all and would love to return. |
