Celly gingerly placed her hand on Nyx's shoulder.

"Nyx...?" Celly whispered. "That is you, isn't it?"

Victoria noded. "It's, Vic... er, Nyx. Yes. I'm me." She began to sob violently and fell into Celly's arms. "I---I killed him!"

Her body shook uncontrolably.

Seth could not hear the Otaku's conversation. All he saw was the broken body of his friend... of his Kindered.

'Plunge it into her heart... when she ressurects she will be well again.' Meth's voice echoed back.

Had Nyx taken over Victoria? What other explaination could there be? Milton was dead. She had killed him. His gripped tightened around the hilt of the dagger. He was her Guardian. The Council would surely court marshal him for what he was about to do. He would be expelled. But he didn't care about that. Milton was dead and Victoria was gone. The only to get her back was to kill Nyx.

Seth jumped over the wooden railing and charged at the two Otaku.

Celly snapped her head up just in time to see Seth appraoching them at break neck speed with a dagger in his hand. "Nani?"

Nyx instinctively pushed Celly out of the way and rose, she turned her body to her attacker...

The knife plunged into her heart.

Nyx froze. The astonished expression on her face turned to one of serenity as her dying body sank into his arms.

Seth could hardly believe what he had done. His hands and clothing were tainted with her blood. He sank to the ground, cradling her body.

Celly stood frozen in shock. Anger crept into her veins. "Seth!!! Seth no baka!!!! Baka!Baka!Baka! Temmee!"

"What? I had to! It was Nyx!"

"No! She had changed back!"

Seth drew the dagger out of her body and let it fall into the pool of her lover's blood.
