It really is quite simple; the WCHA fears the Gophers. This fear breeds insecurity. This insecurity gives rise to a natural defense mechanism: stupid web sites. Jon Storm should feel shame, because he stooped to your level.

Luckily, the 1997-98 Chokers are continuing to provide fresh material for the site. It's my favorite! Growing up a UND fan, hating the Gophers becomes an involuntary response (like breathing). Now that I'm a CC fan & alumn - I HATE THEM JUST AS MUCH. And no, Mr. Gopher fan, it's not insecurity or envy -- it's disgust at arrogance and things like - handing out cash to players. Besides, how can you cheer for a plague-carrying, disgusting rodent?
PS: Nice performance here at CC this weekend -- 9 goals?!? Hell, my grandmother could have scored on DeBus this weekend.

It is true that as a UND ALum that I have reveled in the spiralling downfall of the Gophers. I have watched their many defeats on the Minnesota Gopher Sports Channel and cheered. They will not even make it to the Final 4 again as long as the Woogster is coach. And as the rumors that Gophers think our coach would be their new coach.. YEAH RIGHT IN YOUR DREAMS!!!
