What do you wear?
We wear shining armour.
We wear a quilted vest and
cap to protect us from enemies and a chain metal shirt.
Where do you live?
I live in a castle and the
other knights live in villages. Castles and villages are made out
of different materials.
What weapons do you have?
My weapons are swords, cross
bows, English mace, German mace and screw arrow head.
What
do you do for job?
My most important job as a
knight is to protect my kingdom from enemies. The Knights also go
hunting for food such as chickens, rabbits, deer, moose and fishing for
fish.
What games do you play?
We play horseback riding,
archery lessons and sword practise.
What do you do when you go
in a tournament?
In the toasting competition,
knights on horse back gallop toward each other at top speed. Each
are armed with a long, wooden lance. He has to use this to try and
knock the other knight off his horse. The knight who knocks his opponent
off the horse is the winner.
How do you become a knight?
A knight on horse is a splendid
sight. He wears a full suit of metal armour with a crest or badge
on his helmet. The armour is very heavy. If a knight fell off
his horse, several people have to hammer a knightâs helmet straight so
it could be pulled off. This was while it was still on the head!!
