It was a beautiful day as we approached the 7th Tee and two of my playing partners had already teed off. It was now my turn. After two good drives to the 218 yard hole, both in the middle of the fairway, I was a little concerned that my distance would be woefully short so I took an extra hard swing, pulled it and the ball swiftly caromed off the huge oak tree separating the seventh and eighth fairways. Unfortunately, the force of the drive was such that the ball came screaming back towards the eighth green where four players were just about to putt out. Now the plot thickens. My ball bounced once, hit the flagpole on the eighth green and dropped in the hole for a hole-in-one...on the wrong hole!
