There are many ways of getting peoples IP address. One is using them lame icq IP hacks.
But here is a way that isn't lame. To start off you need to make a connection with the person.
All you need to do is send them a message they don't even have to reply. Once you have sent the message open a MSDOS window and type: Netstat <ENTER>

Netstat will show you all the IP address that you are connected to. If you get something like this
slip166-72-148-122.ar.us.ibm.net you can type: Ping slip166-72-148-122.ar.us.ibm.net <ENTER>

Pinging slip166-72-148-122.ar.us.ibm.net [166.72.148.122] with 32 bytes of data:


Reply from 166.72.148.122: bytes=32 time=516ms TTL=107
Reply from 166.72.148.122: bytes=32 time=549ms TTL=107
Reply from 166.72.148.122: bytes=32 time=529ms TTL=107
Reply from 166.72.148.122: bytes=32 time=456ms TTL=107

Now you can see the IP address of the user.
