Ports That a Hacker should know!

Ja thats right we are going to talk about basic ports and what they are used for!

7 = Echo
9 = Discard
13 = Time
15 = Netstat
17 = Random Quote
19 = Character generator
21 = FTP   - This is the port that most servers use for ftp. If you get someones user name & password this would be a good port to play with.
23 = Telnet   - Every one knows what telnet is!
25 = SMTP   - Good for sending fake e-mail!
39 = rlp
43 = whois
53 = dns
67 = bootp
70 = gopher
79 = finger
80 / 8080 = HTTP - like web pages
87 = link
110 = pop3 - Good for reading your pop3 email when your on someones PC
113 = identd
119 = nntp

144 = news
512 = execk
513 = login
515 = pkill
517 = ktalk
518 = ntalk
533 = netwall

12345 = Basic NetBus Port good for changing netbus passwords.

telnet to the IP address..
login with port 12345..
when it says: Netbusv1.6, type: 
Password;1;desired_password

4000 = Icq server port might be able to find away to hack 
someones computer with this port!

31337 = Back Orifice
