This text was written so that when you hack a Windows user, that you will 
have something to do besides opening his CD Rom drive, or sending him message 
boxes. This teaches you how to find out everything about the person so you 
can have a little fun with him for a while. ;-]  
Ok. Here it is. What kind of things would you be looking for if you were 
trying to find out something gory about a friend? You'd probably go for 
mail, messages, cache, etc.. This text just tells you where some popular 
communication tools store some of their data. Don't terriorize the person 
with what you learn about him, use your morals. Here's the stuph.


Netscape Stuph:

Netscape 4.x Cookies: C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\User\Cookies.txt
  -this obviously is a text file with all the cookies that have been stored
Netscape 4.x Mail: C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\User\Mail\Inbox
  -this file has no extension. is just called: inbox
Netscape 4.x Address Book: C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\User\abook.nab
  -this file is encrypted, but wont come out encrypted if you replace it with 
yours. you wont be able to open it with Notepad and understand it, but you 
will with Netscape
  -v4.x   %netscapedir%\username\netscape.hst 
  -v4.x   %netscapedir%\netscape.hst
that's the history file.  it's got every site they've ever been too.  to
read it, just copy it over your netscape.hst file and type (in netscape)
'about:global'

Eudora Mail

any *.mbx file (also the *.toc)
the .mbx is the mailbox, and the .toc is the table of contents.  in eudora
you can make more than one mailbox to store messages in.  the defaults are
"in.mbx, in.toc, out.mbx, out.toc, trash.mbx, trash.toc"

Juno Mail

Juno Mail (all versions): C:\Program Files\Juno\USER000*\fold0001.frm
  -juno inbox
Juno Address Book (all versions): C:\Program Files\Juno\USER000*\addrbook.nv


ICQ

ICQ Messages: C:\Program Files\ICQ\Db\*.idx and *.dat
  -these are encrypted ICQ messages and can be decrypted by a program 
availible at http://members.tripod.com/~nidgid/icqh.zip


Windows Stuph

Windows Password Files: C:\Windows\*.pwl
  -this is where windows saves cached passwords such as the dial-up 
networking password. these are encrypted but can be cracked by a program 
availible at http://www.webdon.com

Windows Screen Saver and Other Data: C:\Windows\user.dat, user.nav, user.da0
  -this is where windows saves it's screen saver passwords and other data. 
who cares if you get their screen saver password? ..you might use the 
password on other emails and things that the person uses to hack those 
accounts. these passwords are encrypted, but can be cracked by a program 
availible at http://members.tripod.com/~hack_texts/ss_crack.html

Windows Word / Excel / Powerpoint Documents: C:\My Documents\*.*
  -this is the default directory for Microsoft Office 
saved documents, presentations etc. This might be useful
if you want to find out what someone does at work.
