Rebecca's parents got back from Oklahoma City that night,and they all stayed at the hospital. The next day,they found out that Bryan was going to juvenille. A week later,they were all at their houses,doing fine.

"Hello?"Rebecca answered the phone.

"Hey Babe. How are you?"

"Hey! I'm great! Guess what?!"

"What?"

"I'm getting a puppy dog!"

"Really? What kind?"

"I think a lab. A blond one."

"Cool! That's what i wanted when we got Wickit,but we got that little furry thing."

"Zac he's so cute."

"He's so small,but he is cute. So,when are you getting it?"

"Tommorrow!"

"Can i come with you?"

"Sure can. I've just gotta figure out what to name it."

"Come over here,Amy and Kat are here."

"Be right there. Love you."

"Love you too." They hung up and Rebecca ran out the door. Isaac had gone home 2 days before,and the doctors said that he could play guitar in 3 weeks,but he intended on it being a bit sooner. Rebecca was ok,knowing that Bryan was in jail,made everything ok. She had Zac,and nothing else mattered. No one could beleive how the two families were getting over it all,but they guessed that being close to eachother helped out.

"Hey Babe!"Zac greeted her with a kiss.

"Hi! Hey Aim,hey Kat,hey Tay-bear,hey Ikey! How's your arm?"

"Good. You ok?"

"I'm great! Everyone keeps asking me that!" Taylor rolled his eyes and sat with Katherine on the floor.

"So,you're getting a puppy?"Amy asked.

"Yep! Tommorrow! I just don't have a name."

"Hmmm...i know! Name it after me!"Zac smiled.

"I think not."

"Why?" He gave her a puppy dog face.

"Because,it's a GIRL!"

"Uh,fine." He pretended to be annoyed,but he wasn't a very good actor. Everyone burst into laughter.

"Ok,let's think of a name..."Ike stated.

"What about something that rhymes with Wickit,and then i'll name my new kitty something that rhymes too,"Amy smiled.

"Yeah! But what rhymes with Wickit?"

"Uhm,Li.."Taylor started,grinning.

"TAY! Don't even say it!"Rebecca warned.

"What? It was innocent."

"Oh ya. I'm not naming my cute little puppy something like that."

"I thought it was pretty smooth."

"Well,that's you. Now think of something decent,besides Lickit."

"What about,er,uhm,i don't know,"Katherine sighed.

"Let's just think of any name,"Rebecca said,"Wait,i've got it...Rickit."

"Uhm,no. That sounds stupid,"Katherine stated.

"Ok then. How about i just name it after Zac."

"Yeah!"he yelled.

"C'mon,we're all creative,we can think of something better than naming it after Zaccy,"Amy said,trying to tease Zac.

"I personaly think it's creative,"he smiled.

"Ok,i could name it,Tatem."

"Where'd you come up with that?"Ike asked.

"Scream! And it's the last name of my best Carolina friend."

"That's cool,but not as cool as Zac,"Zac argued.

"You'll survive,"Rebecca promised and kissed the top of his head.

"OH!"Amy exclaimed.

"What?"

"We found out that i'm having a girl!"

"Omigosh! You're kidding! What's her name gonna be?!"Rebecca squealed.

"We don't know,"Amy sighed,laying in Ike's lap.

"It's due on Zac's b-day right?"Katherine asked.

"Uh huh. I hope it's born a little bit off the right date."

"Hey! That's not very nice!"

"You are such a baby,"Rebecca teased and laid his head on her shoulder. He just stuck out his tounge at her and laid his head on her.

"Anyways,you guys wanna go to the movies tommorrow night?"Taylor asked.

"Sure. I think Blade is on,"Zac agreed.

"I know."

"But i'm getting my Tatem tommorrow."

"Babe you can leave her home for 2 hours."

"But she'll be scared."

"Please Rebecca? Please? Babe Please?"

"Ok,ok! Stop whinning!" Everyone laughed,Rebecca and Zac had to be THE weirdest couple alive.

"Zaccy! Get up!"Rebecca yelled to him over the phone.

"I'm getting up,it's only 9."

"Only 9...we're going to get Tatem in 20 minutes."

"Twenty minutes!"

"Zac,you'll be ok. Get ready,and we'll come get you,"she laughed.

"I love you. Bye."

"I love you too. Bye." At 9:17,Rebecca and her parents drove across the road to get Zac.

"Hey Baby! Excited?"

"You bet!" They got to the house in 15 minutes. All four jumped out and were greeted by an elderly lady.

"You must be Rebecca,"she said,shaking her hand.

"Yes i am."

"And you're her brother?" She pointed at Zac.

"Uhm,no. I'm her boyfriend actualy." He put his arm around her tightly,to get the point across clearly.

"And you're how old?"the woman asked,leading them around back.

"13."

"My,how times have changed. Well,here she is. Still a pup."

"Omigosh! She's adorable!" Rebecca picked up a small,blond labrador pup.

"Do you have a name picked out?"

"Tatem,"Zac answered for her.

"Interesting. Have you had a dog before."

"Yes,back in Carolina. He was a retreiver."

"That's good. She's had her shots untill next year. You can take her home."

"Thank you Ma'am." Rebecca hugged the old woman,and she said good-bye to one,of her puppies.

"Here,can i hold her,"Zac asked while they were riding back to Rebecca's.

"Sure." Zac took the puppy.

"She's shaking."

"I know. Hold her closer to you,like you do me."

"What was that?"Rebecca's dad asked.

"Nothing Dad,nothing at all." Rebecca carried the puppy into the house,and her parents went over to the Hansons',and Zac went in with Rebecca. They sat the puppy on the couch,and sat on either side of her.

"Tatem,"Zac called,patting the couch,"Tatem,c'mere girl. C'mere."

"Zac,she doesn't know her name yet."

"I know,you teach her by calling her and patting the ground or whistling,it only takes a few days."

"I love you Zac,"Rebecca said staring at him. It was just adorable,seeing him call the puppy softly.

"I love you too." They kissed,and continued playing with Tatem. That night,Rebecca locked Tatem in her,big cage in her own room,and went off to the movies.

"This movies is gonna be SO awsome!"Taylor said excitedly.

"A bunch of vampires killing eachother or something,if you say so Honey,"Katherine smiled. They walked in and sat quietly in the theatre.

"This movie isn't all that wonderful,"Zac whispered,half way through.

"You noticed too,"Rebecca smiled.

"What do you say we step into the mall? I'll buy you something."

"Alright. Hey Amy,me and Zac are going in the mall,we'll be back when it's over."

"Ok."

"So Babydoll,where do you wanna go?"

"Uhm,let's check out Claire's."

"Ok." They walked in,and Rebecca suddenly had an idea.

"Zac,what do you think of earrings on the top cartridge?"

"I think they're sexy."

"I'm gonna get one."

"Do you not have to have a parent with you?"

"Yeah,but this girl,Monica,works here,she's here now,and she's super cool. I talk to her some."

"Hey,I'd love it. Go for is Baby."

"Mon,hey!"

"Hi Rebecca! That Zac?"

"Uh huh. I was wondering if you could peirce my cartride?"

"I'm not suppose to without parents' permission."

"I promise they won't care. I've talked about it before."

"They won't care,they really won't,"Zac added.

"Oh ok." Rebecca sat down in the chair,and held Zac's hand.

"It won't hurt,i promise." Monica grabbed the gun,and counted to 5,then peirced Rebecca's ear.

"All done."

"You're kidding!?"

"Nope! It's done."

"I didn't even feel it! You like it Zac?" She stood back from him,and pushed her hair behind her ear.

"It's awsome! I love it!"

"Great!" She kissed him happily. After buying this and that,it was time for the movie to end.

"Rebecca! Did you peirce your cartridge?!"Isaac yelled.

"Uh huh! Like it?"

"It's so cute!"

"Thank you!" They all admired her ear,and headed home.

"Mom? Dad?"

"Right here."

"Ok,look." She showed them her ear.

"Rebecca! What did you do?" her mom gasped.

"It's an earring."

"I know. Where did you get it?"

"Claires. You like it?"

"It's ok,"her dad agreed.

"I guess,"her mother decided.

"Good,because Zac thinks it's...cute." She wasn't about to say sexy.
