Three days later,Rebecca hadn't seen or talked to Kailey. She also hadn't talked to Zac about how she felt.

"Rebecca,telephone."

"Ok. Hello?"

"Hey Rebecca,"Bryan greeted.

"Oh hey Bryan."

"What you been up to?"

"Nothing really."

"Is something wrong?"

"Yeah Bryan,something is wrong."

"What is it?"

"Bryan,I shouldn't have let you kiss me the other nite."

"Why not?"

"Because,because the reason that I ran out of the theatre was because i got jealous of Kailey. I want Zac."

"Oh. I see. Why didn't you just say so?"

"I don't know. Maybe because I think you're really hot,maybe it was all the physical attraction between us. I just couldn't tell you then. All I could do was kiss you back,I needed something to show me security like that."

"I understand,I've been throught it before Rebecca."

"Really?"

"Yeah. And even though I would love to have you for myself. I'll help you get Zac."

"Thanks Bryan."

"No problem,but I have to go eat lunch now. Oh,and make sure you tell Zac how you feel."

"Ok,thanks. Bye!"

"Bye!" Rebecca sat on her bed. Finaly,she decided to go to Zac's. As she opened the front door,she saw Kailey laying on top of Zac. She froze.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Kailey yelled.

"Coming to see my friend you bitch. But apparently this isn't a very good time. I'll come back later."

"Yeah,you do that,"Kailey smirked.

"No! Don't leave!"Zac screamed. He pushed Kailey to the floor,and walked outside with Rebecca.

"Zac,why shouldn't I leave?"

"Because,I want you to stay."

"If you only knew what I came to tell you,"she whispered.

"What were you gonna tell me?"

"Zac,I was gonna tell you that I'm falling for my best friend,and I want more with you! Zac,I want to be kissing you,not that bitch in there!"

"Rebecca,I don't know what to say."

"Just say that you want to be with Kailey,I know that's what you really want."

"No it's not."

"How could you say that? You were making out on the couch!"

"She threw herself on me! I invited her over today to break up with her! But when she came in,she just jumped on top of me and I never got the chance. She was kissing me,I wasn't kissing her. You have to beleive me Rebecca."

"Zac,all that I want is to be with you. That's all." He wrapped his arms around her waist. By now she was in a fit of tears.

"Ssshhh,don't cry Rebecca,please."

"Zac,what's gonna happen?"

"Well,"he released her and they both sat down,"I'm not going out with Kailey anymore. So,we could give it a try."

"Yeah,we could,"she smiled.

"Hey Mom,can I talk to you?" Rebecca asked after she got home.

"Sure,what is it?" They sat down at the kitchen table.

"Mom,what do you think of people that are bestfriends,starting to go out?"

"What do you mean by going out?"

"Dating."

"Oooh,is this about you and Zac?"

"Uh huh."

"Rebecca,I know you love Zac. And he loves you. You know eachother and grew up together. And I don't think that there's anything wrong with going out with him."

"Thanks Mom."

"Anytime Honey."

Rebecca put on her green pleather pants and black shirt. Just then,she heard someone honk. She ran outside and jumped in the Hanson's van.

"Hey!" Zac said.

"Hiya!" She sat close to him.

"Ok kids,you have fun shopping,be careful walking home,and be in by 11,"Diana said.

"Ok,Bye Mom." As they walked in,Rebecca tied her jacket around her waist and they walked to American Eagle.

"Hey,when we get done,you wanna go see a movie?" Zac asked.

"Sure. But for now,we have to shop for Christmas." After their shopping was done,they sat down in the food court.

"When does the movie start Zac?"

"Thirty minutes,"he said eating his fries. She laid her head over on his shoulder.

"What's wrong?"he asked.

"Nothing,just tired." Soon,they entered the movie,Ever After. Zac's eyes were watching Drew Barrymore carefully.

"Zac,do you always stare at girls in movies?"

"Huh?"

"Nevermind,"she laughed.

"Oh,sorry. No I don't,well,actualy yeah. I don't know."

"It's ok." He took her hand and watched the rest of the movie.

"You're beautiful,"Zac whispered as they were standing on Rebecca's porch. He was holding her close in a tight hug.

"Thank you Zac." He stepped back and looked into her eyes. As she tucked a peice of his hair behind his ear,he put his hand on her's.

"Zac..."she started.

"Ssshhh." He stepped closer to her again,and placed his lips on her's gently. She colapsed onto him. After a few more seconds,they pulled away.

"I'll see you tommorrow,"Rebecca smiled.

"I hope so." He released her hand and walked away,smiling.
