Chapter 24

Two nights later, they were about a week into their US tour. The three girls sat in the suite, while the rest of the family was at a concert.

"Remind me again why we all chose to sit here on our asses instead of go to the concert,"Rebecca complained.

"Because the gyno is gonna call,"Amy stated.

"Why do you have to go to the gyno?"Katherine asked.

"You have to go when you're pregnant dumbass, besides,i'm not showing hardly any,so they've gotta check that out."

"That sucks,"Rebecca said plainly.

"It sucks worse to have somebody digging up in you."

"Eew! Amy that's enough!"Rebecca squealed. The three girls laughed until the phone rang.

"Hello?"Amy answered,"Yes I'm Amy. Uh huh. What time? 9:10. Ok. What day? Tonight? Ok,i'll be there. Thanks." She hung up.

"What was that about?"Katherine asked.

"They want me to come in tonight,in an hour. She said it was the only time she had in the next week even."

"But i thought Ike was going with you."

"I know. But i've check the one in the next town, and no one could work me in. I guess we'd better go tonight."

"Ok fine. But i have to warn you,i hate gynos, and their offices,"Rebecca said.

"Me too. But i have to go."

"Oh alright." They got ready, and left at 20 till 9. When they arrived,it was 9.

"Ms. Amy Robison..."a nurse called out. The three girls walked throught the door, then into a small room.

"So,are these your sisters?"the doctor asked when she came in a few minutes later.

"No,they're my friends."

"Oh ok. Now let's see..."She rubbed some gel on Amy's stomach and ran an ultrasound.

"Well,i see the baby,but i can't trace a heart beat.."

"What does that mean?"Amy panicked.

"Wait.." She listned closer and looked carefully.

"Amy,i'm afraid that the baby might have died." Amy burst into tears.

"Now wait, wait. I'm not saying for sure! I'm just saying that i can't pick up a heart beat. Now sometimes this just means that your heart beat is too loud to pick the baby's up."

"How can we find out?"

"I'll have to run some more tests, tommorrow."

"Ok,what time?"

"Uhm,i can get you in emergency at about 10."

"Ok,thank you so much." The three girls walked silently outside.

"I'm sorry Amy,"Rebecca whispered.

"I can't beleive this. My baby is dead."

"No it's not. She said that maybe your heart beat was too strong to hear the baby's. We'll find out tommorrow. It'll be ok Aim,"Katherine assured her. As they sat down watching TV,the phone rang.

"Aloha!"Rebecca answered.

"Rebecca?"Katherine's dad asked.

"Oh yeah. Hey!"

"Hi. Is Kat there?"

"Yeah,just a second. Dad,hi!"

"Hey Sweetie. Listen, there's something i need to tell you."

"What is it?"

"Kattie, while you've been gone,me and your mother have been seperated, and now,i'm filing for divorce."

"What?!"

"Honey,i'm sorry. But i can't live with her going out all night and getting drunk, and hitting you. I can't live with that."

"But you love her!"

"I know,i will always love her. But it's better like this."

"Daddy,can i live with you?"

"Of course. It went through today that i have full custody of you. I love you,and i'm sorry i had to tell you over the phone."

"I love you too Daddy." She hung up and fell to the floor.

"Kat,what's wrong?"Rebecca asked.

"My parents,they're getting a divorce..."

"Omigosh! Katherine...i'm sorry,"Amy said. Later that night,as the oldest girls were sharing their stories of the day with their boyfriends,Rebecca and Zac were out on the balcony laying down.

"I can't beleive the baby might be gone,"he sighed.

"I know." She looked at him,a tear was about to overflow.

"Zac it's ok. It'll be ok. The baby might not even be gone. There's still a chance."

"Rebecca,i just wanted something to be able to be respnsible for. I mean,i was gonna have a neice. It made me feel special."

"I know, but hey, they aren't even for sure if she's gone. You might still be an uncle. And Zac,you are special." He didn't reply, they just laid close together looking at the stars.

"Never leave me,"he whispered all the sudden.

"I won't Zac. I'll always be right beside you. I love you with all of my heart."

"I love you too..always."

She smiled happily at the thought of her and Zac together, forever. She felt his hand rub up and down her side, inturrupting her thoughts. She rolled over on her side and faced him.

"I'm cold,"she whispered. He pulled her closer and kissed her a few times.

"Now that will warm me up." She rolled over and laid ontop of him.

"Zac,don't take off my shirt."

"Why not?"

"It's cold out here."

"Then let's go inside." He picked her up and laid her in the floor of his bedroom.

"Do you two mind?"Katherine asked.

"Huh?"Rebecca breathed.

"We're in here."

"Oops. We didn't see you."

"I noticed."

"Sorry." Rebecca and Zac walked into the living room, then to the other bedrooms.

"There is NO privacy here!"Zac yelled.

"The closet,"Rebecca smiled and pulled him by the shirt into the small closet and shut the door. He pinned her against the wall and they kissed aggressivly. They slid down the wall and she was now straddling his lap as he sat against the wall. He put his hand on the inside of her thigh, and moved it up her leg. He rested it between her legs, and she kissed him harder. As he unbuttoned her pants and took them off, their breathing quickened. She quickly took his shirt off, then his pants.

"Rebecca,are you going to..?"

"I don't know Zac." She continued to kiss him,and thought abou what was at hand. As he took her shirt off, then her bra,she put her hand in his boxers.

"Omigod.."he breathed quickly. He groaned and kissed her aggressivly. He pushed her backwards, and laid her down, then got on top of her.

"Oooh,Rebecca please?" His voice was shaky. She hesitated a moment, then seeing the look in his eyes, resumed kissing him and put his hands on the top of her underwear. He slipped them down...

"Where are Rebecca and Zac?"Diana asked.

"I don't know. Last time i saw them, they were looking for somewhere to hide,"Katherine smiled.

"Oh Lord..."

"I know,they scare me."

"Zac wait.."

"What?"

"You don't have a condom on."

"Rebecca,it's just once. Please,oh God,please?" He looked at her pleadingly.

"Ok..."
