"Rebecca,now run this by me again..you broke up with Zac?!" Katherine asked.

"Kat,yes,I did."

"Why the hell did you do that?"

"I don't know,I mean,it's just,after this whole thing with Amy,it really scares me. I just don't want anything like that to happen to me."

"Well you aren't having sex with him are you?"

"No."

"Then what are you worried about?"

"i don't know."

"That's not a very good answer Rebecca."

"I know."

******************************Meanwhile at the Hanson house******************

"She did what?!"Ike yelled.

"She dumped me...do you need me to write it out for you Ike?"

"No,sorry. Why'd she do that?"

"She didn't say,that's what so confusing. But i know that something's wrong,Rebecca always has a motive,even if it's stupid,there's still a motive for everything she does."

"Well,what was happening when she left?"

"Uhm,we had just been talking about the whole thing with Amy and then i started kissing her and fooling around,and..I"VE GOT IT!"

"You don't have to yell,i'm right here dumbass."

"Ike,when i started to move my hand down to the buttons on her jeans,she got up,and we had just been talking about Amy being pregnant!"

"Yep,that's it."

"God,how could I have been so stupid damn it?"

"Zac,you're always stupid."

"Shut up asshole! I've got to talk to her! Tell Mom i'll be back later."

There was a knock on Rebecc's door.

"Zac,hey."

"Rebecca,look,uhm. I'm really sorry about last night."

"Zac,i told you how i felt,and you didn't do anything. Just,i told you what i wanted."

"Are you giving me an ultimatium?"

"Yeah,I'm sorry Zac,but i told you i wanted to be your friend."

"Alright,but this isn't fair Rebecca. I love you as a friend,but I love you even more as a girlfriend."

"Zac,I love you too,you know i always will. I just need this right now. Ok?"

"Ok." He walked away,unsure of why he hadn't told her that he knew her motive for this. Maybe it was just that he didn't want to lose her,he needed her there to hang on too. He had lost her once,and he wasn't about to lose her again. That weekend Rebecca went to watch the guys race dirtbikes with the Hanson family. Sitting in the car,she watched Zac,it was so hard to hold herself back,all she wanted was to kiss him.

"Zac,wait,"she said before he got on his bike.

"What is it?" he took his helmet off.

"Zac,I'm so sorry. I made a huge mistake." The words came pouring out of her mouth,as the tears poured out of her eyes.

"You really want me back now?"

"Yeha,and I know that I hurt you,but i'm truly sorry. I love you with all of my heart Zac."

He took her hand,"Rebecca,you've put my heart on a roler coaster the last few days,but I'm not letting go of you. I love you Rebecca."

"So you're taking me back?"

"Of course,I knew you'd come back. I know what your worried about,and it's not gonna happen,you aren't gonna get pregnant or anyhting like that. But would having my kid be *so* bad?"

"No,it wouldn't. Oh,you gotta go. Be careful. Love you!"

"Bye,I love you too." With that,he kissed her on the cheek and rode to the starting line. Rebecca sat down and bit her fingernails,since Zac had started racing against the older guys,it scared her to death,it was true that he usualy won,but it still scared her. Everything seemed to be ok a few minutes into the race,so Rebecca took Mackie to get a drink,then she heard someone yell,"Omigod! They sideswiped him!"

Then Diana yelled,"Zac!!!" Rebecca dropped the coke,scooped up Mackie,and ran to the track. Sure enough,an older guy had sideswiped Zac. She sat Mackie down with Jessie and Avery,then ran onto the track,beside Zac. the side of his head,and his hand was bleeding,terribly. She started crying as she knelt beside him.

"Zac,please talk to me."

"I'm fine Baby,I'll be ok." He tried to sit up,then fell and whinced in pain. She cried harder as the paramedics came over and kifted him into the ambulance. Rebecca cried harder,"I love you Zac!"

"Rebecca,I didn't kill him. He'll be fine." She turned around to see Bryan.

"You bastard! You could have killed him! What are you,phyco!?"

"He's fine."

"You bastard!" She bitch slapped him across the face. Then turned to Taylor.

"It'll be ok Rebecca,it'll be ok. Now let's go to the hospital." The Hanson family and Rebecca walked into the hospital.

"I wanna see my boyfriend!" Rebecca yelled to the nurse.

"I'm sorry miss,you can't see him untill tommorrow,"the nurse repeated for the 4th time.

"But you don't understand! I have to see him!"

"You can wait,he's having test run today."

"Test?" A look of horror filled her face.

"It's not as bad as it seems,they just have to make sure that his head is ok. He'll be fine though,it's just minor."

"Ok. Oh,and I'm sorry for yelling at you Miss."

"I get it everyday. You must care for him alot,eh?"

"Yeah,a whole lot."

"Well,i have to go,but i'll tell you and his parents whenever we get an update."

"Thanks."

Rebecca sat down,"Ike,what if he's not ok?"

"He'll be fine Rebecca. There's wrecks at the track all the time. He'll be fine,just try to think about something else."

"Where's Amy?"

"At the doctors office."

"In this hospital?"

"No,the one on the other side of town."

"Oh." A few hours later the nurse came out.

"He's fine. You can see him tommorrow morning starting at 8."

"Thank you so much!"
