"I'll only be gone for a week,then we're coming home for the weekend,"Zac explained to his weeping girlfriend.

"Then what?"

"Then we're going back for a few weeks,but you can come to see us,then we'll come home for a week,then we go back for about 2 more weeks,then we're done recording."

"Hmmm,this sucks."

"I'll only be 2 hours away."

"Then why can't you just stay at your house and drive everyday?"

"I don't know Sweetie."

"You leave tommorrow?"

"Yeah,at 6am."

"I'll miss you,alot."

"I'll miss you too,but it's only for a week."

"That's a long time."

"You'll be fine. I love you,always remember that."

"I love you too." The next morning,Rebecca walked across the street to the familar house. The Hansons' were loading the van.

"Hey Rebecca,"Katherine greeted.

"Hi! You ok?"she asked,seeing Katherine crying.

"Yeah,it's just,Rebecca,i don't want Taylor to leave. Last night he told me that he loved me,and now since things are going *so* smoothly,he has to leave."

"I'm sorry Kat. I know how you feel."

"So,you and Zac back together?"

"Yeah,we made up at the track,and then he had that wreck. But it brought us so much closer,it made me realize that i can't live without him. I mean,a few times,like when i first saw him laying there,i thought that i had lost him,and i couldn't take it,i just couldn't."

"Rebecca,I know how much you love him,i know." Just then Amy walked up.

"Well,you two sure aren't happy about the guys leaving."

"Looks like you're just thrilled!"Rebecca said sarcasticly,seeing Amy's tear-strickened face.

"Rebecca,c'mere,"Zac said wrapping his arms around her waist.

"What Baby?" She turned around and faced him,wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I love you."

"I love you too. How's you head?"

"It's better,the scare is going away."

"I'm glad,Zac,that really scared me. And i know i've told you before,but i can't stand to lose you,be careful while you're gone."

"I will. Thanks for everything. I gotta go now."

"I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too,more than you'll know. I'll be back for you,in one piece,I hope. I love you Babe."

"I love you too. See you soon." As tears came to her eyes,they french kissed sweetly in the falling snow.

*******************************Two days later****************************

The phone rang in the temporary Hanson residence.

"Hello?" Zac answered.

"Zac?"

"Oh,hey Anna." Anna was the daughter of one of the guys they had been working with since they started recording the rest of the album.

"You don't sound too happy to hear from me."

"I am,just hoping you were someone else."

"Uhm,ok."

"Oh,sorry,i jsut haven't heard from Rebecca today."

"Don't you think that you're a little bit hung up on her?"

"No."

"Well,you always talk about her,and you know that you could have me if you wanted me. I would still please you even if you don't give her up."

"Anna,you remind me up Kailey! And she was a BITCH!" With that,he hung up. The next day,the guys and,Anna were eating lunch. Ike and Tay left,leaving Zac and Anna.

"Zac,why did you get so mad at me yesterday?"

"Hmm...I wonder."

"I didn't do anything wrong." She walked over to him,and took her shirt off.

"Put your fuckin shirt on!"

"Zac,you *know* you want me,all of me." She sat in his lap. He jumped up.

"Zac,don't try to deny it,you want me." She walked up to him.

"Kiss me Zac,please." He swallowed hard,he was craving Rebecca's lips,but he thought that maybe Anna's would at least help a little bit.

As he leaned in he siad,"NO!!! I can't kiss you,I love Rebecca."

"Zac,I'll give you anything you want,and I mean *anything*."

"I don't want anything,unless it's from her. Now go away Anna." Later that night,Zac called Rebecca.

"Hello?" Rebecca answered.

"Hey Baby!"

"Zac,hi!"

"I have to tell you something."

"Ok,go ahead."

"There's this girl here,and she is so like Kailey."

"Uh oh,I don't like this. You didn't do anything stupid did you Honey?"

"No,but see,i jsut have to tell you this,it's like guilt or something. This afternoon,she took her shirt off and came on to me,and she almost kissed me,and she tried to make me kiss her,but i didn't."

"Well,I'm proud of you. Most guys would have jumped at the chance to kiss a girl that freely takes her shirt off."

"I love you."

"Love you too. So,you'll be back in..4 days?"

"Yeah,see you then."

"Alright,Bye!"

"Bye." The guys came home,then left again. Rebecca sat listening to 'A Minute Without You'.

"Cuz when the minutes seem like hours,and the hours seem like days,then a week goes by you know it takes my breath away." The words hit her hard,every minute without Zac was like hours and everything just built up. Soon,the weeks went by,and the guys came home,just in time for Rebecca's 13th birthday.
