Rebecca sat in her bedroom late one May night listening to the radio. She was hoping to hear a clip from "Middle of Nowhere",then call in and be caller 5. 'How long do i have to...',her thoughts were inturrupted by a clip of 'Madeline'. She grabbed the phone,waited 3 seconds,then hit the memory button. Since she figured that it was hopeless,she was in shock when the DJ answered the phone.

"You're caller 5!"

"OMIGOSH!"

"You just won an all-expense-paid trip to Hawaii,with Hanson!"

"Are you serious?!"

"Yes! What's your name?"

"Rebecca."

"Ok,thanks for calling Rebecca."

She hung up the phone and sat on the floor in disbelief. Then she raced into her parents bedroom. "Mom,Mom,wake up!"

"What?"her mom,Sarah yawned.

"I just won a trip to Hawaii with Hanson!!!" she screamed in triple exclamation.

"What's all the comotion about?" her dad,John asked.

"I WON!"

"Can we just talk about this in the morning,Sweetie?" her mom suggested.

"Fine." she stated and skipped happily back to her bedroom. Again,she grabbed the phone and dialed the private number that Matt and Jennie shared.

"Hello," Matt answered.

"Mattie! Go get me Jennie,please."

"Rebecca,it's 4am."

"I know,but it's SUPER important!"

"Ok,but this better not be about Hanson again."

Rebecca laughed evily. She had called several other times during the nite to announce that they were on TV. Matt found this very annoying.

"I swear u girls are insane."

"Mattie,please?"

"Ok,but quit calling me Mattie."

"Ok."

"Hello?" Jennie answered groggoly.

"Jennie! I'm exreamly sorry for waking you up. But i won that trip to Hawaii,with Hanson!"

"Omigosh! You won?!"

"Yes!"

"You have to take me!"

"I will! But we don't have all of the info yet,so i'll call you tommorrow."

"Ok!"

Rebecca laid down in her bed. She tried,unsuccessfully,to sleep. Finaly,at 5:30,she went to sleep. At 12:30 the next morning she felt her mom shaking her,"Sweetie,wake up." She rolled over and thought about how glad she was that school was out. Even though she was homeschooled,her parents let her out with the other kids.

"Mom,do i have to?"

"Yes,Sweetie."

"Quit calling me Sweetie,i'm not 5 anymore."

"Ok,but you have to get up. We need to talk about last night."

"What about last night?"

"You won that trip."

"I forgot!"

"Well come on."

She rolled out of bed and followed her mom downstairs,taking her blue comforter with her,as usual.

"Ok,now Honey,what exactly happened last night?" John asked.

"I might tell you,if you'll quit calling me stupid names!"

"Ok,sorry."

"All that i know is that i won a trip to Hawaii with Hanson."

"That's all that you know?"

"Yes."

After getting all the information from the radio station,she ran across the street to Jennie's house to tell her that her and Matt could both go.

"When are we leaving?" Matt asked.

"Three days!"

"We have to go to the mall sometime," Jennie said.

"I know. Lets just go this afternoon."

"Ok. Meet me outside in 20 minutes."

"Ok."

"Well,i'm going to pack the clothes that i have,"Matt laughed.

Twenty minutes later,the girls were on their way,walking to the mall. First,they went to Gadzooks for swimsuits and boardshorts. Then they went shopping for shorts,shirts,and dresses.

Ok,i know this was a boring chapter. But it'll get better,i promise.
