Golden Jubilee Trees – IMM reported information had been passed to schools and up to them to take up offer

Resolved:

T 146 – Manor Business Park - Mobile Telephone Base Station – Object because although mast in an industrial area it is in a prominent position for traffic entering the village

35204/3 – 55 Macclesfield Road – Alterations – No objection

35163/3 - 5 Balmoral Drive – Extensions - No objection

35181/3 – Gas Station Middlewich Road – Extension to antennae – Object because the Council objected to the original installation and would not wish to see the height increased in a prominent position

6. Tipping – Banks

Clerk reported on enquiries made – no planning application submitted yet but one expected; CBC had not yet formulated a policy; Glyn Chambers had indicated he would attend

7. Police problems

  1. Noted still some complaints about skateboarding
  2. Members commented on good work by Community Warden
 
     

8. Safer Routes to Schools

ACR reported on County Policy document

Agreed:

  1. Clerk write to Head Teacher of each school regarding action taken or proposed
  2. Policy should also be considered in relation to river crossing

9. Bus shelters and bus stops

ACR reported on meeting which had taken place some months ago as a result of which 2 bus shelters were proposed on London Road. Money now included in CCC budget but design work is behind. Necessary to include provision for HCPC contribution in budget

 
     

10. Byley

ACR reported on CAP meeting on 04-12-02 when he had represented HCPC. Inquiry still continuing and not likely to end before 18-12-02. Further consequences of CCC action and financial consequences still to be considered. Cranage Parish Council anxious for Parish Councils to make actual contributions
