When I first started creating Graphics I was advised to use Paint Shop Pro and LVIEW Pro. They both do different jobs and I still use them even now. I design most of the graphical effects in PSP and when finished I compress the GIF or JPG image in LVIEW. If you want to learn to design your own graphics then this is the best start you can have. Learn to experiment with the drop shadows and fill techniques and look around the web for some PLUG-INS.

To give you a head start however, I have designed a few basic themes for web sites. To save any of the below colour schemes click on the image with the right hand button of your mouse and choose 'Save Image/Picture As'

Brown Colour Scheme
Red Colour Scheme
White Colour Scheme (Dark Background)
