During the period of the Sacred Herb Church in 1997; "Rebecca" joined on as a Couselor of Abstinence. She held tolerance for the basic use of Cannabis for the Holy Sacrament that the church has been practicing for several years; but she never used the herb herself. In fact Rebecca was the one who led the church in a direction of non-use. Many of the participants took her example and realized that reason we gathered was not to use the herb, but rather to be together and experienc God in the event of being together as people, as friends, as family.
Rebecca implemented the philosophy of the "Culture of the Open Heart"; and taught the people to recognize their open hearts. The people found Rebecca a invaluable asset to their lives and arrived every Sunday with great expectations of seeing her and experiencing her universal love. For those who were hooked on a substance, she would give extra care to them and help them through the rough times and remind them that all we need is each other, and not a drug.
