Julia Ann was born about 1831 in TN and married Martin Nance by 1852. Martin was a farmer. He and his brother in law bought the property where the Cool Springs Church is located. Julia died about 1890 and Martin April 9, 1879. Both in Giles Co., TN and both buried at Cool Springs Cemetery, Giles Co., TN.
    Their ten children are:

    James was born about 1852 in TN.

    As far as is know the baby died at birth and was not named.

    Edward was born about 1859 in Giles Co., TN

    Stella was born about 1863 in TN. She married John David Hannah and the last record of them was they, were living in Sheffield, AL in 1890.

    Malinda was born Mar. 28, 1865 in TN. She married John Alexander Tomerlin who was a farmer and song leader. Malinda died July 30, 1910 in TN and John died March 19, 1947 in Pulaski, Giles Co., TN. He is buried at Cool Springs Cemetery, Giles Co., TN.
    Their six children are:

Tolbert was born about 1867 in TN and died Nov. 9, 1925 in Giles Co., TN. He is buried at Cool Springs Cemetery, Giles Co., TN.

Robert was born about 1869 in TN and died about 1940 in Giles Co., TN. He is buried at Cool Springs Cemetery, Giles Co., TN.

Hattie was born about 1872 in TN and married twice, first to a Oakley ROGERS and next to Edd CHRISTOPHER

Melissa married a Moore and died by 1890.

Belle married a Harwell and died by 1890.
