Laura was born about 1873 in TN and about 1887 married Thomas Phillips. In the 1900 Giles Co., TN census Laura stated she had seven children but only two were living in the 1900 Giles Co., TN census. This also is the latest information on this family. At that time Laura's mother, Rose Ann, was living with them The census states Thomas, Laura and Rose cannot read, write or speak English. This must be an error of some kind.
