Amanda Tate Allen Matthews has been provided by Barbara Gunn Ryon.
The information on John Allen Jr. by James Walter
Allen and Wes Hogan.
During the winter break from college Jason Coffman
found proof of the sons of John and Polly and at least a couple of generations.
Until that time it had only been speculated that C. P. and Gabriel were
sons, in addition there were three other sons.
Hugh Odneal found a record about Joseph Tate
Morton's mother being Mary Odennell of Marshall Co., TN. Joseph and
John O. moved to MO. Joseph had one son and John O. died about 1840,
without heirs. Great work to all the researchers and their perservence
in finding the proof of these facts on the family.
