There is a permanent section of Tirna N'goth. It is call Tuatha'an (from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series) It was discovered by a son of Merlin, Runner, who spent several years researching Tirna N'goth to learn all its secrets. Entering Tuatha'an - There are two methods of entering Tuatha'an. The first is to go to sleep. Thus only your psyche enters the dream world. Dreams of Tuatha'an are like very realistic dreams. The second way to enter Tuatha'an is more difficult. This is the way to bring your physical body into Tuatha'an. To physically enter Tuatha'an, one must first enter Tirna N'goth through the moon stairway (as usual). Then, one must go down to the pattern room. But instead of going into the pattern room (which is behind the seventh door) instead, go to the third door, and enter it. One will travel down a short dark hallway which opens into a massive cavern. In the center of the cavern is a massive crystal spire, with stairs running around it. Climb the stairs. The top of the spire opens onto a massive plain of grass. There is a narrow bridge one must walk across to get from the spire to the plain. This is Tuatha'an. Once one gets across the bridge, the presence or absence of the moon no longer affects the reality of the place. This is the only way to get into Tuatha'an. Tuatha'an is completely blocked to Trump, Logrus, Pattern and Sorcery. It is even impossible to initiate trump communication into Tuatha'an. In my game, Brand's Matrix is being used. (Thanks to Lawrence who orginally posted it i believe) It is likewise to use Brand's Matrix to enter Tuatha'an. However, once inside Tuatha'an all powers work normally. i.e. Joe Q. Amberite physically enters Tuatha'an through Tirna N'Goth, while chasing after his sister Jane. Once inside Tuatha'an, Joe can shift shadow to Jane, he could trump her, he could teleport to her, or he could initiate a Logrus search for her. Geography of Tuatha'an - Every type of geographically type is represented. i.e. forests, mountains, deserts, oceans, lots of sky space for falling dreams. Basically, the land shapes itself around a dreamers will. There is a large city to the northwest that becomes whatever city (cities) the local dreamers are dreaming about. The forests are capable of being nice anime woods, or nightmare forests. In the center of it all is a massive castle. This is a prototypical castle, very similar to Amber. There is a pattern room in this castle. If you walk THIS pattern, instead of become a pattern initiate, one becomes a Tuatha'an Initiate, and one receives basic dream power. DREAM POWER - 30 points Dream Travel - normal travelling in Tuatha'an is very slow but with dream power, one can travel very fast. basically, one concentrates on the place one wants to be, and takes a step. one feels like a lot of distance has been travelled, and then you are there. With basic Dream Power, one can only travel to places. Thus, finding specific people within Tuatha'an is much like a hit and miss process. Alter Dream - Manipulate the reality of dream. Much like mold shadow of Pattern Initiation. Allows changes in objects, color, size. large scale changes in dream physics or magic require dream travel, or advanced dream power. Enter Dream - When not physically in Tuatha'an, one can only enter Tuatha'an while asleep, which is random at best. But, a Dream Initiate, can fall asleep, and psychically enter Tuatha'an at will. Thus a player with Dream Power can use his powers, while still wandering about shadow. The difficulty, is the time distortion, synonomous with Tirna N'Goth. While the body of the Initiate will be asleep for 8 hours, the Initiate will only have an hour or two of useful time. Invisibility - Allows Initiate to disguise to disguise his psyche from other dreamers. Since few know of Tuatha'an's existance, this is usually easy. However, if a person of sufficently high psyche decided to search for invisible psyches, they will probably detect the initiate. Dream Defense - Initiate fills himself with Dream Power, very similar to Pattern Defense. ADVANCED DREAM POWER - 45 points total Dream Travel - Allows travelling to people. Alter Dream - Allows large scale changes in dream reality, such as changes in physics and magic. Dream Search - Allows a pyche search throughout Tuatha'an for specific people and place. Much like Pattern Lense. Enter other's Dreams - Allows Initiate to enter the personal dreams of other Real people. This is very dangerous, but can be useful, in gathering information. (Similar to _Dreamscape_) Sensitivity to Major Powers - If a major power is being used within Tuatha'an, the Initiate will be sensitive to its use. If the user has encountered the user before, he may be able to identify the user. i.e. Someone inside Tuatha'an begins a Logrus search. The Advanced Dream Initiate may be able to determine who is searching. Induce Nightmare - Initiate can cause other dreamers to experience horrible nightmares.
