Men 2B

TIME FOR AN INTRODUCTION!
I'm Farrard, I'm Lee, and I'm Mark.

Q.1. HOW DID YOU GET TOGETHER?

LEE:	We were formed about a year ago. Mark was with another project
 which wasn't too successful. He was over in London for the weekend to 
get some music, and he met a few people who gave him numbers to go and
 get some music. Mark came back to me then, and asked me if I'd be 
interested in starting up a band with him, so I agreed to that, and 
then we auditoned a few people, but Farrard was... we knew of Farrard, 
he wasn't a very close friend, but we did know of him. He was the guy
 who didn1t mind throwing the shapes..he's the ego of the band.
 We needed someone like that!!

FARRARD: In a night club, we used to see each other in there dancing.

LEE:  and I was better that him!

FARRARD:  Not!

Q.2.  WHO WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO MEET?

MARK: The All Saints are my favourite--Michael Jackson or the All Saints.

LEE: I would have said Michael Jackson, but not so much any more, I'd
     say more now Boys 2 Men, or George Michael.

FARRARD: The Richest man in the world! He lives over in one of the 
 Islamic countries, because he has loads of money, and he has...he has 
loo seats made of gold and everything!! I'd love to see his house!

US:By the way, where are you from?

FARRARD: Originally from England.  My Dads from India and my mums from
 England, so am I , but I'm a Dubliner, because I been living there 
since I was 11.

Q.3. DO YOU HANG AROUND WITH ANY OTHER STARS?

FARRARD:Well Michael...(As in Jackson)(He's kidding, of course!)

LEE: (trying to be serious!)Gary and Robbie are great friends of ours..

FARRARD: Yeah, Gary and Robbie, we see them now and again---- on the
 T.v. screen!

LEE:  No. We're just starting out, so we're meeting and greeting people
 now.

Q.4. WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR NAME?
MARK: My Mum.

US: No, Men 2 b.

MARK: A friend of mine, when we started the band up said "Its kind of a
 co-incidence that you're all together, its like you're meant to be." 
Then we kind of elaborated on MEANT TO BE, and got Men 2b.

Q.4 a.--And would you not think that in a couple of years you1ll be sick
 of that name.?

FARRARD: We1re sick of the name NOW!,  no.
We can just call ourselves MEN!

Q.5. HOW MANY DRINKS BEFORE YOU ARE DRUNK?

FARRARD:I don't drink.

MARK: 20!!!!

FARRARD: (repeats) I don't drink.

US: We1ll turn off the tape recorder if you'll tell us the right answer!

FARRARD: No! Seriously, I don1t drink, He (Lee) doesn't drink, and Mark
 about 20 pints!

Q.6.DO YOU HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD?

LEE: (In complete shock at this question!) NO!!!!!!!!

FARRARD: No, I don't, And I'm not even going to joke and say I do-- I
 don't!!

MARK: I do! I got lost when I was 5, and the policeman brought me back 
to my Mammy! And I've got a criminal record now!

Q.7.  WHATS THE WILDEST THING YOU'VE EVER DONE ON A NIGHT OUT?

FARRARD: The wildest thing I've ever done on a night out??? I can't tell
 you!!!

LEE: He stripped himself and ran naked down the street!

FARRARD: That1s about it!

(Mark was talking to someone, and missed that question) 

FARRARD: (Turns to Mark to ask him the question) Whats the wildest thing
 you've ever done naked  Mark??
(everyone turns and stares at him)

MARK: I don't remember

FARRARD: (Realising his mistake)  Naked? Oh, God--I mean, whats the 
wildest thing you've ever done on a NIGHT OUT??

MARK: I don't remember

LEE: To be honest with ya, because we1re in a band, obviously we've got
 to watch what we're doing, and watch what we say into little tape 
recorders!!

Q.8. WERE YOU EVER IN A BAND BEOFRE MEN 2 B?
LEE: No, I wasn't. Mark was in another project, yes.


(and by the way, anyone who is interested, Mark other project was with
the band, FRENDZ, who are also on my page!! He was in the band before 
Tommy joined.)

happened to your leg? " I broke my knee cap" (He broke it on the way to
 the Canaries where they were filming their video.)



THINGS THAT HAPPENED AFTER THE INTERVIEW....
Well, Men 2 b were seen socialising with the stars, dancing backstage 
to practically every song, and at the end of the night, when the stage
 was filled with everyone who had  taken part in the Beat, they  tore 
off their T-shirts, and threw them out to the audience (as did N.v, and
 IOU) , and Farrard was seen hopping on one leg, as someone appeared to
 have stolen his crutches!
