Environmental Theater is simply put "Theater in a real world environment".

If you take it to its most pure form it is "Theater in a real world environment that appears to be the real world"

This second form is the form that I am interested in and these pages are dedicated to.

A goal of this second form is to convince as many audience members as possible that the performance is not a performance but an episode in the real world.
