Ikey's Chili
1 lb. Chili Meat (coarsely ground
mix of pork and beef)
1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
2 Cups water, Bring 2 cups water to a boil in large, deep pot
Peel 5-6 garlic buds, add to water.
Add 1 lb. chili meat, 1 lb. lean ground beef
Boil until meat is done and comes apart
(Or brown the meat in a skillet)
Add salt & pepper to taste
Add 1/3 cup Morton's Chili Mix
1 teas. ground camino
1/3 cup paprika
Bring all ingredients to a boil; cover, turn down to simmer.
Let cook the biggest part of the day.
For an "Ikey's Chili Deal" serve on open-faced, toasted hamburger
bun with mustard, sweet pickle relish, and broiled weiners. Also good in
a bowl with Louisana Red Sauce
