According to the Midland Reporter Telegram article on the Jal Website,
March 31st, 1998------we had 71 people registered in the address book
and the site had received 1200 hits.

July 31st, four months later-----we had 180 people registered
and the site had received over 3600 hits.

Feb.2, 1999, ten months after the newspaper article,
we have 339 people registered and
the site has received 8360 hits.

April 3, 1999, 12 months after the newspaper article,
and just 2 months since the last update,
we have 405 registered Jalites and
the site has received 10,400 hits.

NOW...April 25, 2000, two years later--
we have 707 registered Jalites,
342 receiving the newsletter,
and the site has received 23,666 hits.
