Aishwarya is one of the best and the most successful model India has. She was nominated as Miss World in 1994. She was the runner up in the Miss India pagent the same year.

Her first movie was a South Indian film called Iruvar, though the film did not fare well, it definately projected Aishwarya's potential.

Her first Hindi movie was with Bobby Deol called Aur Pyar Ho Gaya, directed by Rahul Rawail. Once again the script of the movie was not up to the mark and hence it failed to rule the Box Office.
