The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
March 1, 1998 @ The Roseland Ballroom
New York City

For some strange reason, the crazy Boston Crew, including the honorable Raphie, Cimbry and Adam Swinbourne, thought it would be a good idea to drive to New York City to check out this show. My sister Robyn and I drove there and back in one day. While visiting the Big Apple, we went down to the Lower East Side and saw a HUGE crowd in front of Coney Island High to see Boston's own Dropkick Murphys. Oh yeah, and this band called the Business too. Well, back to the Roseland. Opening up this was Spring Heeled Jack from Connecticut. These guys have improved since the last time I saw them. However, they rocked back then. Also on the bill was CIV. Talk about changes ... Anthony always said he wanted to move on from Gorilla Biscuits. I didn't think they'd go this far. The Bosstones tore it up as usual, playing a good mix of old and new with few surprises. This show was taped for REVERB, a show on HBO 2. Check out
