Welcome to the place we call home.
It is in the suburbs of Pittsburgh in Western Pennsylvania.
You will find a few shots of our home here and some photos of some of our favorite places
in this beautiful and scenic area.
I grew up here, but left shortly after high school when I joined the US Navy.
After spending over 20 years in other areas of the country, and not realizing
how much I missed this area, had forgotten just how much natural beauty abounds
here. I returned 2 1/2 years ago after retiring from the Navy and all the
memories quickly returned as I drove the many mountain roads enroute to our
home. Believe me, we will never leave again!

My Most Favorite Place
THIS IS MY FAMILY'S HOMESTEAD IN THE MOUNTAINS NEAR BEDFORD, PENNSYLVANIA
My Uncle Roy lives and cares for this beatiful estate where my grandparents
lived for many years. I spent many memorable summers here where "Grandpa"
taught me to fish in his lake, and "Grandma" cooked them in the old country kitchen,
along with many other mouth watering dishes including one of my favorites -
Rhubarb/Apple Pie!
