I think by the time we started audtitioning for "the Emperor's New Clothes" that my "Christmas Carol" wounds had healed. This play was just for the kids. I like that because kids will laugh at anything...not to mention lots of cleavage. Not to sound perverted or anything, but if you wanna run a good play, and show some breasts in the process I'm down with that. I could just sit back, listen to ICP, and see tons of cleavage. Yeah, it's immature, but.....cleavage! In this play I was the "Underlord of Underwear" who walked with a wedgie. It wasn't very cool, but the kids liked it and that's all that mattered. Not to mention this cast wasn't as uptight as "Christmas Carol". Yeah, i hope they read this, and if you were in it and reading it now, you can kiss my pasty white hairry a....well, nevermind. Oh yeah! Here it goes...

1. Costume: *****

Awesome costume! Green tights and blue shorts, a purple skirt kinda thing and a box like hat. I also had a fake goatee drawn on me because I suck and I can't grow fascial hair.

2. Looks: ***

Yeah, I may have been born ugly, but I liked the way I looked in this costume. Not to mention that we all looked like girls, except for the girls who just looked like men. We changed roles I guess.

3. Actual Performance: ***

I walked, picked my butt and said 8 lines so I can't really go in too deep, but for what I had I did ok.

OTHER:

The first show was for the kids. The kids thought that me picking my butt was funny. Everybody involved int he play did great, so it was cool. It was a great response and we had a lot of great conversations backstage. After the first performance we went into the crowd and greeted the children. They all called me "the Underlord" and I was happy to talk to them and shake theit hands and tell them they were shaking my "picking hand". Anyhoot. the later performance was the same but no kids were there hardly. It was offsetting to have the kids laugh, and the grown ups just think I was an idiot. I liked the 2nd one least of all...not to mention I missed a mic change. Now we're on! The 3rd performance was on saturday and it was the SHIT! Instead of the Emperor coming out to his regular music at the end he came out to "Macho Man" and I nearly pissed my pants. He did a weird dance and continued as if nothing happened. This performance got a standing ovation...not because of anything I did, but because it wasn't as bland as the other performances. I loved this play and will miss all the people involved in the play! Overall I would rate the 3rd show as *****! It was awesome!
