How Yoda bacame a Jedi Master
This story takes place when Yoda was 150 years old. It was hard standing on your head using a thumg Yoda thought, but how else was he going to become a Jedi. So far he had almost collected enough pieces to assemble his lightsaber, but he still needed to find the perfect gem to use to focus the light in it. “Concentrate” exclaimed Master Novu, snapping Yoda back into reality. “You must concentrate,” he continued “many Jedi have fallen because they could not concentrate!” “Try, I will, Master Novu.” Yoda replied. “No, either you do it, or you don’t, there is no try!” “Remember that, I will” Yoda answered. “Yoda i have a gift for you.” said Master Novu as he pulled out a adega gem. “Thank you, Master.” Yoda said, taking the gem. “After you complete your lightsaber you wil have completed your Jedi training.” For the next fifty years Yoda rarely had to use his lightsaber, but over teh years a few of the Jedi Knights had becoem corrupt, and Yoda ended up being one of the key characters in what would be known as the Jedi War. During one the final battle of this tradgedy thet turned Jedi against Jedi, Yoda was summoned to TokanFa the major focal point of the Dark Jedi Empire! “How could this have happened?” Yoda thought “After all the years he trained me, how could Novu become an agent of evil?” When Yoda got to TokanFa he saw turmoil everywhere and in the middle of all of it standing on a high cliff was his former Master Novu! Yoda headed toward Novu, but before he got there he was swept off his feet by a gust of wind that took him right toward Novu. “You have grown strong in the force since we last met, Yoda.” Novu said laughing as he dropt Yoda to the ground. “Why Novu? Why choose the darkside?” Yoda asked. “The power, Yoda, the power of the darkside of the force is greater thatn anything you have tasted. You were my best student, join me.” “NEVER!” Yoda emphaticly spat back. “Then you will die.” Novu said as if caring very little about Yoda now. They drew their lightsabers and fought for what seemed like hours, the advantage never really going to one of them. When suddenly Novu used the darkside and threw Yoda’s light saber from his hand. “You are defeated. Give yourself to the darkside!” “No. I’ll never join the darkside!” Yoda screamed. “With you at my side we could own the galaxy.” “You used to say a jedi uses the force for knowledge and defense, never attack!” With Novu distracted for a moment by Yoda’s words Yoda used the force and through Novu’s lightsaber over the cliff hitting the bottom with a small explosion. “Once you join the darkside there is no returning, Yoda. Now feel the power of the darkside!” Novu said hate sweeling up within him, suddenly blue lightning flashed from his fingertips and engulfed Yoda. Yoda screamed in pain and then something flashed through his memory, “Concentrate, you must concentrate!” He was losing conciousness. “Concentrate...” Yoda reached out with the force... and then everything went black. When he woke up he was in the medical facility on Ossus, the center of Jedi learning, “What happened?” Asked Yoda. An old Jedi Master walked up “You were being electrified by Novu’s darkside lightning, we thought you were done for when you reached out with the force and threw Novu off the cliff after that it was easy to defeat the other Dark Jedi, it was as if he was somehow controlling them, but you need your rest.” One month later Yoda was asked to come to a ceremony in his honor. When he got to the gathering place, he noticed that only the Jedi Masters were there, Yoda began to wonder what all this was about. “Yoda,” one of the Jedi Masters began “Since you have served the republic well as a Jedi knight, you are hearby pronounced a Jedi Master. May the force be with you Jedi Master Yoda.”
